It is always said that “looks don’t matter.” But as of today, it highly does. It’s a necessity: you can’t get a decent and stable job without good (or pleasing, or just acceptable) looks. Having a desirable appearance doesn’t mean bragging about or flaunting or selling yourself. It’s one’s self-fulfillment to show that s/he’s happy with the way s/he looks. I recently read a magazine about an artist who grew up with this philosophy: “ALWAYS LOOK YOUR BEST WHEN YOU GO OUT.”
One cannot know another person’s personality by just looking at their appearance, but our appearances reveal so much (although not all) about our way of life.
But still, don’t gauge or judge people through their appearance.
